Mine shaft BA-MV
This mine is one of many models forming part of a larger project. It was the first dry run to test the camera rig at the time and helped develop my understanding of mapping a relatively simple model but in a unique environment.
Mine shaft Virtual Model
When I first caught whispers of this mine, I had to find it. After a little research I managed to get the coordinates along with a dozen or so more points of interest. This one was pretty easy to find, the others less so.
This mine was just off an old fire trail, down a narrow-overgrown track, and across a creek.
The model below shows a shaft approximately 200m long, where it continues further to the submerged section.
